Do Not Get Comfortable In A Uncomfortable Place

The feeling of discomfort is a safety mechanism that is supposed to help you self reflect and grow. A lot of times we have to go through uncomfortable stages and situations to help us become a better and stronger person in the end. Change is uncomfortable for many and so is growth but they both are requirements associated with progress. One thing we are not supposed to do is become comfortable in a uncomfortable place or situation. Never stay in places of pain, negativity, lack or loss. You are not meant to stay in these places that is why they provide discomfort. Learn and grow and keep it moving. It why we feel comfortable when we can stretch out and have no barriers in our thinking and living. We were created to expand and progress!


INTERNAL Modification


We are still on the topic of supplements and the benefits you reap from them. We can’t get all we need from eating. People have absorption issues, lack of resources, other health issues and the quality has gone down in our food source. Supplements help you get everything you are missing when eating.

Turmeric is the powerful herb of choice discussed today. It is a herb used wide and far today but it originates from India and was originally used for skin disorders, joints, digestive health and upper respiratory tract ailments. Today they have more test and information on it. The main component is curcumin and that is where are the health benefits come from. We now know it can be used for arthritis, digestive disorders, respiratory disorders, allergies, liver disease, depression and many other conditions that are still being studied.

It can be consumed in a multitude of ways. Cooking it in curry is the most popular way in India and heating it increases bioavailability. Mixing it with a source of fat such as nut butters and avocado increase absorption. Black pepper is not needed to absorb turmeric but it can be helpful in preventing your body from breaking it down in the gut and liver. I use turmeric in energy booster, cooking and with honey in tea for my Husbands chronic sinusitis and all ways are effective. There are pills, gummy’s, powders, topicals, liquid and fresh methods of intake for this powerful herb that can be life changing.


EXTERNAL Modification


The importance of stretching has been proven to be of vital importance with improving performance, range of motion and physical activity. Research says its not enough to just build muscle and aerobic fitness if your joints don’t move freely and smoothly. Stretching reduces risk of injury from falls and strains and reduces chances of muscle soreness. Stretching daily can change your life. It also releases endorphins that make you feel happy.

You should stretch every day for effectiveness. They have apps that will take you through ways to stretch your whole body in as little as 5 minutes. Stretching is best when done daily for short periods of time, meaning 20 minutes or less. See what stretch routines you can find that work best at the beginning or end of your day!


PSYCHOLOGICAL/SPIRITUAL Modification


Healthy fear vs Unhealthy fear. Being afraid is a natural part of life. Fear of pain and fear of

the unknown are the 2 most common types of fear. Fear is healthy when it prevents you from harm or injury. When fear keeps you from getting hurt, dead or making choices that will ruin your life or someone else’s it is healthy and you should take the time to process the feeling and analyze the reason and purposes. Allow this type of fear to help you process feelings, emotions and change certain habits that are not beneficial to your well being.

Unhealthy fear is irrational, unnatural, debilitating and causes you to be overly cautious. When fear prevents you from growing and changing it is unhealthy. When it prevents you from making decisions based of facts and reality it’s damaging. Unhealthy fear prevents you from thinking clearing and receiving knowledge from learned experiences.

It’s okay to be afraid but do not let it dictate your life and prevent you from accomplishing all the things you were created to accomplish on this earth!


Financial/Monetary Modifications


Invest your Money! Did you know you can set up an investment account that automatically drafts a small amount monthly to invest for you with you needing to do anything?

It is not enough to just save your money, it will make more money for the bank then it does for you. There is a reason your 401K is a investment account. The bank knows that in order for your money to grow enough for it to benefit you in the future, it must be invested. I started investing with Charles Swab and set it up to automatically draft a set amount each week. Starting is the hardest part but it needs to be done to make sure your future is financed. No depending on no one else!
