One thing that is guaranteed in this journey of life is that everything is temporary. There is nothing in life that is non changing. This time next year, we will all be in different situations and stages of life with completely different focusing. One thing that is permanent is that things will and do change. The most important thing to do is to set yourself up for a better future when the change occurs. Your future is based on current choices, actions and words. Set yourself up for improvement, whatever that looks like for you!
Internal Modifications
The importance of vitamins and minerals. Vitamins and minerals perform so many roles in the human Body that they are still learning all the benefits they provide as well as different sources they come from. What we do know is that they are not produced by the human body and therefore have to be consumed in some way through food, supplements or topical absorption. Your body has to produce skin, muscle and bone every day to keep the body as a whole functioning. In order to do this, the proper nutrients have to be available. There are at least 30 of each vitamin, minerals and dietary components that the body needs that it cannot produce.
Eating a healthy balanced diet is the best way to meet the needs of the body. Being totall

honest, its hard to eat balanced all the time. With supply issues going on, its hard to even find certain foods in the store consistently. That’s where supplements come in. There are so many types of supplements that you can take or its said that you need that it hard to figure out which one’s are best. As long as you are putting forth effort that meet the demand, you are doing well. Most importantly take vitamins based on age, sex and condition.
Ive learned that the chances of accidental overdose on vitamins is very rare due to the awesomeness of the human body. Whatever vitamins your body does not need will be eliminated by the liver or kidneys and wasted in your urine. That’s why one of the first things you notice when you take vitamins is changes in your urine.
Like anything else it will take a few times before you find what you like. I personally like liquid vitamins because they are easier to digest and I can swallow them easier. I also like vitamins in the vegetable capsules because they also are easier to digest and dissolve fast. HAPPY VITAMIN HUNTING!
EXTERNAL Modification
The definition of the word stamina is the ability to sustain prolonged physical or mental effort. At some point in your career, personal or physical life, your stamina is going to be tested. Even when you are young, it is something that has to be developed and fine tuned. As we age we either use it or lose it. Weather you are exercising every day or you sit behind a desk and use your brain more then your body. STAMINA IS IMPORTANT.
Adequate stamina allows you to endure discomfort or stress when performing task. Is allows fatigue to take longer to set in. Reduces the chances of exhaustion. It allows you to perform with minimal energy and effort, saving it for what you enjoy doing instead.
We build stamina by consistent exercise.
Practicing yoga and meditation.
Listening to music you enjoy.
Consuming caffeine provides temporary boost in stamina when consumed without excess sugar.
The herb ashwagandha improves health and vitality.
Eat healthy well balanced meals and maintaining hydration.

HAVE YOU NOTICED THAT IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO THE DIET?
SPIRITUAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL Modification
Making a conscious effort to prioritize spending time alone is one of the most self serving

things you can do as a individual. I know some people hate being alone but it is important for yourself and your mind.
Studies show that when you send time alone it helps you to develop a better understanding of who you are as a person.
It allows you to have stress relief and relaxation.
You get to exist in a safe and pressure free zone without judgment.
It allows your mind and body to relax without distraction.
Being alone allows your mind time to clear itself, focus and think clearly which is a must have for your mental health.
Studies show that just being in the presence of others is a constant distraction. If you don’t allow yourself alone time, you run the risk of being burnt out emotionally and physically.
SETTING TIME ASIDE FOR YOURSELF IS NOT SELFISH IT IS NECESSARY!
CAREER/MONETARY Modification
The invisible/glass ceiling is a new term to describe the ever present barrier that prevents marginalized groups from rising above or beyond a certain level. There are 3 different types of ceilings. Gender bias, Cultural and Racial. It’s amazing because pigmented people fall under 2 out of the three of those categories. These ceiling are why women still make 10% less then men for the same job. Why men still occupy the majority of positions of power in executive positions in corporations. In the beginning it was based on a lack of education but women and POC have become the most educated in American with Women of Color leading with multiple degrees. Yet the ceiling is still firmly in place.
This is why it is more important then ever to build your own and work for yourself. You would never put restrictions on yourself. Not only that, it have been studied that a woman is more able to see the value in another woman and vice versa with a man. The same applies across race and culture. No longer will we raise our children to get a education to work for someone who will potentially place them under a glass ceiling. The sky is the limit and its time to actively develop and provide it for ourselves and our future generation!
